I loved the Flickr project. I had a good time, and I felt as if our set of pictures does a great job of telling a story. We were well prepared as a group, and the project did not take much time. We had our project thought out before the class time, and we brought all of the appropriate props and equipment. I feel like this project did a good job of emphasizing Flickr's power as a form of media. By this I mean that it can tell a story, just by showing pictures. An example showed in class was the riots and the pictures that were shown to tell the story. If you have something important to show the world, you can do it by using Flickr.

Flickr allows anyone to be heard. Our set of pictures tells a story. The story that is told involves "Think Green". It is an attempt to make people think, to make them think about littering and how throwing away your trash can make a difference. Anyone can be heard, or seen, if they want to. You can post pictures from vacation or you can post pictures from a riot. The ability to be heard is mentioned in Rebecca's article. She mentions how Flickr enables citizens to do their own form of journalism, through pictures.

Overall, I enjoyed the project, and it was nice to meet new people in class and have a change of pace. The project allowed us to realize the power that Flickr has a form of media.
